Povzetek
V uvodu prispevka so predstavljena nekatera izhodišča, ki povečujejo vlogo elektronskih medijev v učnem procesu, kot so potreba po vseživljenjskem izobraževanju, zagotavljanje enakih možnosti za učenje, elektronski mediji kot podpora učnemu procesu, omogočanje hitrega in preprostega dostopa do aktualnih učnih vsebin ter izobraževanje, ki na ta način postaja bolj fleksibilno in prilagojeno potrebam posameznika.
S prenosom učenja v spletna učna okolja se pojavlja tudi potreba po preverjanju in ocenjevanju znanja s podporo informacijske tehnologije (IT). V nadaljevanju so predstavljene značilnosti e-testiranja, nekatere prednosti in slabosti z vidika testirancev in testatorjev. Na primeru preverjanja in ocenjevanja znanja pri pouku nemščine v spletnem učnem okolju Moodle ugotavljam, da postaja elektronsko testiranje z razvojem testnih orodij bolj obetavno in dovršeno, kar kaže tudi pozitiven odziv dijakov, ki so sodelovali pri e-testiranju nemškega jezika. Ostaja pa vprašanje, kako zagotoviti validnost e-testov pri testiranju na daljavo, kar je tudi glavni pomislek sodelujočih dijakov.

Abstract
The introduction of this article presents some starting points, which increase the role of electronic media in the learning process, such as the need for lifelong learning, ensuring the same possibilities for learning, electronic media as support in the learning process, enabling fast and easy access to current learning topics and education thus becoming more flexible and adaptable to the individual’s needs.
With the transfer of learning into web-based learning environments, the need for assessment and evaluation arises.
In the following part of the article I introduce characteristics of e-testing, some of its advantages and disadvantages from the point of view of the testees and testers. On the basis of an example of assessment and evaluation in German language class in the Moodle learning environment, I realize that with the development of testing tools electronic testing is getting more and more promising and accomplished. This has also been evident from the response of the students who took part in e-testing in German language class. Question remains, how to ensure the validity of e-tests in distance testing, which is also the main concern expressed by the participating students.
