Povzetek
Otroci so razvijali kreativnost, večje kritično mišljenje, boljšo socialno rast, kooperativnost, komunikacijske sposobnosti, moralne, duhovne vrednote in zavedanje samega sebe. Otroci so v igri z lutko razvijali empatijo z vživljanjem v položaj druge osebe, saj so s tem sprejemali njene občutke.
Abstract
Children were developing their creativity, improved their critical thinking, their social growth and co-operation, communication skills, moral and spiritual values as well as awareness of the self.
Puppets were used as a medium while solving conflicts, expressing, recognising and understanding feelings and letting out their feelings. In the education process and the process of upbringing the puppets help children with behaviour problems, or other particularities in development of social and emotional fields.
Children expressed their feelings through Art, Music and Dance. Children were developing their empathy by acting out the role of another person. In the Puppet Play they took up a role of another person and took on their feelings.
Together, we set up a ‘Quiet Corner’, where children communicated amongst themselves only non-verbally. Children aged from one to six watched the non-verbal Puppet Show and attentively followed it. Three-year old children also understood the actions and content of the Play.
Our final goal was production of a cartoon and we managed to reach it, too. We surprised ourselves, our work environment and parents. Children were the main characters in the cartoon. They animated puppets and helped in all stages of preparation and organisation; they made puppets, requisite and scenery. The final product is to be commended, as it is understood by children of various languages and different ages.
