International Cooperation with International Projects on the World Wide Web - Examples of Good Practice

Povzetek

Kako biti zanimiv in inovativen pri pouku, je vedno pogostejše vprašanje modernega sveta. Učitelji imamo možnost preseči ovire razreda in tradicionalnih učnih modelov ter s tem narediti učenje bolj privlačno in ustrezno okolju, v katerem živimo.
Moj cilj pri pouku angleščine in nemščine je povezati moje učence z učenci po svetu in jih motivirati za učenje in delo v šoli in doma. Med brskanjem po svetovnem spletu sem naletela na različne mednarodne projekte in jih predstavila učencem. Učenci so bili nad njimi navdušeni. Spletni mednarodni projekti imajo veliko motivacijsko, učno in didaktično vrednost za učenje tujega jezika in razvijanje informacijsko-komunikacijske kompetence s pomočjo IKT. Tako sem združila poučevanje angleščine in uporabo IKT ter motivirala učence za sodelovanje s svojimi vrstniki po svetu.
Naši projekti: Comenius partnerstva, e-Twinning, iEARN projekti, Izmenjava voščilnic, Teddy bear projekt, Učni krogi in Machinto.
Želela bi predstaviti naša dva mednarodna projekta, za katera smo ustvarili posebno spletno stran (s šolo iz ZDA) in spletni dnevnik (s šolo iz Tajvana).
Namen predstavitve naših projektov je predstaviti pozitivne in negativne izkušnje, ki sem jih pridobila s temi projekti in motivirati ostale učitelje za sodelovanje v mednarodnih projektih, saj z njimi pospešujemo tudi svoj profesionalni razvoj na poti do
e-kompetentnega učitelja.

Abstract

How to be interesting and innovative in teaching is a more and more frequent question arising among us in the modern world. Teachers have the opportunity to move beyond the limits of the classroom and traditional learning models and make the education more attractive and relevant to the world in which we live.
My goal in my English and German lessons is to connect my students with students around the world and motivate them for learning and working at school and at home.
While searching the world web, I came across different international projects and presented them to students. They were thrilled about international projects.
International projects have a motivational, learning and teaching value for foreign language learning and for developing information and communication competences with the help of ICT.
That is why I combined teaching English with the use of ICT and motivated students to cooperate with fellow piers around the world.
Our projects: Comenius partnership, e-Twinning, iEARN projects, Holiday Card exchange, Teddy Bear project, Learning Circles and Machinto.
I would like to present our two international projects we created, our common website with a school from the USA and our common blog with a school from Taiwan.
The aim of the presentation of our projects is to present positive and negative experiences I have gained with these projects, and to motivate other teachers to participate in international projects because it is a faster way for our professional development on the path becoming an e-competent teacher.
