Povzetek
Prispevek obravnava prenos znanj s področja informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije na področje vrhunskega športa. Na osnovi izkušenj iz ženske članske košarkarske reprezentance Slovenije prispevek predstavlja, kako je mogoče, ne glede na primerjalno krajše pripravljalno obdobje, z uporabo IKT doseči rezultatsko uspešnost. Košarkarski zvezi Slovenije je v preteklih letih uspelo ženski članski reprezentanci nuditi boljše pogoje za delo, vendar po številu pripravljalnih dni slovenska reprezentanca še vedno zaostaja za ostalimi evropskimi reprezentancami. V preteklost je zmanjkovalo predvsem časa za pripravo novih taktičnih zamisli, pripravo na tekme in analizo nasprotnic. S postavljenim sistemom IKT se je raven omenjenih aktivnosti občutno izboljšala, kar so potrdili tudi tekmovalni dosežki in osem zaporednih zmag v dveh ciklih kvalifikacij za evropsko prvenstvo. Prispevek obravnava izbiro in uporabo storitev IKT za izboljšano taktično in rezultatsko pripravo vrhunskih košarkaric.

Abstract
The contribution showcases the use of ICT in the field of professional sports. It focuses on the experience of women national basketball team of Slovenia and presents how regardless of comparatively shorter preparatory period for the championship, the use of ICT can lead to better performance at the competition. The Basketball Federation of Slovenia has in recent years managed to provide better working conditions for the women team; however the number of preparatory days is still lagging behind compared to other European teams. Due to this the Slovenian team had had less time dedicated to developing new tactics, to have more focused preparation for each of the matches as well as less time for the analysis of members of other teams. The use of ICT significantly enhanced these processes, proved by final results at the competition and eight consecutive wins in two cycles of qualifications for the European Championship. The contribution focuses on the selection and use of ICT services for improved tactical preparation of professional women basketball players.
