Povzetek
Ministrstvo za šolstvo in šport ter Zavod za šolstvo sta postavila temelje razvoju IKT v predšolski vzgoji. Omogočeno nam je ugodno pridobivanje ustrezne opreme in izobraževanj, ne samo s finančnega vidika, temveč tudi z vidika kakovosti.
V Vrtcu Mavrica Brežice smo izkoristili ponujena sredstva in tako obogatili svoje delo in delo z otroki s sodobno opremo in kakovostnim znanjem. Otroci so visoko motivirani za delo z računalnikom, kjer ne samo uporabljajo raznih didaktičnih iger, temveč tudi brskajo po spletu in iščejo uporabne informacije. Prve korake pa so naredili tudi pri rokovanju z digitalnimi fotoaparati in diktafoni.
Vendar razvoj še ni končan, postavljamo si nove cilje in nadgrajujemo tehnologijo. Ob tem pa poskušamo vzpostaviti tudi enostavnejšo in boljšo komunikacijo s starši o njihovih otrocih.

Abstract
Ministry of Education and Sport and the National Education Institute laid the foundations of the development of ICT in primary education. We are therefore enabled to obtain favourable adequate equipment and training, not only in financial terms but also in terms of quality.
In kindergarten Mavrica Brežice we exploit the resources in order to enrich our work and working with children with modern equipment and high-level skills. Children are highly motivated to work with a computer; they not only make use of various instructional games, but also surf the web and look for useful information. First steps were also made in dealing with digital cameras and voice recorders.
However, development is under way, we have set new goals and upgraded technology. At the same time, we are trying to establish a simpler and better communication with parents regarding their children.
