Using the Logger Pro Software for the Purpose of Phisycal Education in Secondary School

Povzetek
Pri pouku športne vzgoje je motivacija za delo včasih problem, zato se za povečanje interesa lotevamo različnih pristopov.
S kolegom, ki na naši šoli poučuje fiziko, sva izvedla nekaj učnih ur, kjer sva s pomočjo programske opreme LoggerPro, video kamere in detektorja gibanja podjetja Vernier izpeljala različna testiranja oz. meritve. Poleg osnovne baterije motoričnih testov, ki jih izvajamo v okviru ŠVZ, sva želela dijakom predstaviti enostavne in dostopne načine meritev, ki jih lahko opravimo z obstoječo opremo za pouk fizike na naši šoli.
Izpeljala sva meritve vertikalnega skoka iz polčepa, meritve hitrosti strela žoge z nogo, meritve hitrosti meta žoge in meritve gibanja med opravljanjem sklec.
Rezultati testiranj so bili pričakovani, dijaki so jih med seboj lahko primerjali, kar je spodbudilo razmišljanja o novih gibalnih nalogah, ki bi sposobnost lahko izboljšale. Interes za delo pri ŠVZ je zaradi pričakovanja novih (ponovnih) testiranj večji, s čimer smo zastavljene cilje uresničili.
Pri pouku fizike so dijaki med prikazom in razlago meritev ter izračunov pokazali nadpovprečno pozornost in zanimanje. Najsposobnejši dijaki in tisti, ki so nadpovprečno zainteresirani, pa so lahko tudi izkoristili možnost, da datoteke z meritvami in program za obdelavo teh meritev prekopirajo iz spletne učilnice naše šole na svoje osebne računalnike ter podatke doma samostojno obdelajo.

Abstract
At gym class, motivation can sometimes be problematic to work properly. Therefore, we use different approaches to increase pupils’ interest. With my colleague that teaches physics, we have prepared several lessons, where we executed several tests and measurements with video camera and movement detector called LoggerPro made by Vernier Company. In addition, besides the usual testing, which we do within gym lessons, we wished to present simpler, more accessible ways of measurements, which can be done with existing equipment for a class of physics in our school. We have made measurements of vertical jump out of squat, speed of a football kick, measurements of speed when throwing a ball and measurements of movement while performing push-ups. Results of tests were expected, because students compared results with each other, which led to new tasks that would improve the ability to make them better. Interest for participation at gym class is bigger because of the pupils’ expectation of new tests, therefore we have achieved our goal. At physics class, students showed attention and interest above average. The most advanced students and those with higher interest saw an opportunity in downloading the measurement files and program from the virtual clasroom to their personal computers so that they can process all data at home.
