Povzetek
V okviru reform kurikuluma in metodologij pod okriljem oddelka za izobraževanje in vseživljenjsko izobraževanje so pričakovane nove investicije in tehnologije, ki bodo usmerile predšolske otroke k uporabi računalniških programov za namene iskanja informacij ali obogatitev tradicionalnega učenja.
Skladno s tem bodo muzeji, najprej lokalni, nato nacionalnih in slednjič še tuji, pričeli z uporabo programa, ki je bil oblikovan za otroke. V zakonu je zapisano, da učenci vseh nivojev obiskujejo muzeje v izobraževalne namene po lastni izbiri, otroci v vrtcih pa običajno gredo na kakšne igre ali predstave. Splošno mnenje je, da muzeji niso koristni za izobraževalni proces predšolskih otrok, ali da učitelji in kustosi ne prepoznajo izobraževalnega potenciala, ki ga določen muzej ima, oziroma niso sposobni oblikovati programa, ki bi bil primeren za vrtce.
Datoteke, ki so na voljo v Grških in tujih muzejih in ciljajo na vrtčevske programe, vključujejo: a) gradivo z napotki za učitelje; b) učno gradivo za učence. Datoteka za učitelje vsebuje informacije o muzejski kulturi, pomembnejše opise razstavnih eksponatov in predloge za organizacijo dejavnosti. Datoteka za otroke vsebuje vaje za utrjevanje miselnih veščin, opazovalne naloge in razvoj kritičnega mišljenja itd. Datoteka z dejavnostmi vsebuje raziskavo lokalnih, nacionalnih in svetovnih muzejev. Program je bil ocenjen z obeh strani, tako učiteljev kot učencev, da bi skupaj podprli izobraževanje predšolskih otrok o muzejih z uporabo novih visoko tehnoloških aplikacij za zbiranje in razvrščanje podatkov, pa tudi seznanitev s kulturo samo.
Abstract
In the framework of the Dept. of Education and Life long Education curriculum and methodology reform, investments in new technologies are expected to orient Kindergarten pupils to computer software use either for information retrieval or as an enriching additive to traditional learning.
Accordingly, a program to be utilized by museums was especially designed and evaluated for pupils, tailored, firstly, to area museums, secondly, museums country-wide and, thirdly, museums abroad. As legislated, students of all levels make educational tours of museums of their choice and kindergarten pupils are usually taken to game and show areas as it is thought, either that museums are not conducive to the educational process from the student’s point of view, or that educators and curators either do not recognize the educational potentiality of a museum or are unable to design programs fit for kindergarten.
The files compiled on Greek and foreign museums targeted for kindergarten programs include: a) Instruction materials for educators; b) Learning material for students. The educators’ file contains information on museum culture, relevant exhibit descriptions and suggestions on activity organization. The pupils’ file contains specific cognizance skills, observation and critical thinking exercises. As already mentioned, the activity file contains a study of local, national and world museums. The program was jointly evaluated by educators and pupils in order to promote the Museum based education of Kindergarten pupils along with the use of new high tech applications in data collection and sorting, as well as acquaintance with culture.
